Coconut Peat
Coconut peat, also known as coco pith, is a versatile growing medium made from coconut husks that is commonly used in gardening and horticulture. It is a fine dust or sawdust-sized powder that can be loose or pressed into bricks for transportation
Coconut peat is created by processing coconut husks to extract coir fibers and leave behind the powdery coco peat. Coco peat is known for its eco-friendly properties and ability to grow plants well. It is fluffy and loose, which allows it to absorb and retain water for longer than soil, resulting in stronger, faster-growing roots. Coco peat also has natural antifungal properties and root hormones.
Coco peat has a pH level of 5.2 to 6.8, which is more neutral than peat moss, which has a pH level of 3.3 to 4.4.
